THE GATEWAY HOTEL COONOOR 10TH JULY 5 PM

Jerry, the HR head of both hotels accompanied me till Coonoor on this 45 minutes scenic drive down the hill. The spirits were already high, with a great meeting and visit at Savoy and as we reached Coonoor the experience was a notch higher. Staff eagerly waiting for the car to be welcomed by an applause and huge smiles. A traditional dance by the staff was very touching which was followed by me telling them the purpose of the drive. A visit to the cafeteria for tea, a show around this beautiful garden hotel, great smiling faces of staff who wants to be part of this by sharing there Taj experiences...just awesome...you feel yet again just another day like every day " Proud to be in Taj family"

SAVOY OOTY, 10TH JULY 1 PM








We reached Ooty at 1 to be welcomed by rain, horses, enthused and smiling staff of this beautiful hotel Savoy in Nilgiris. Mr Pashupathy, the general manager and his team of people were excited and joined me in this drive for peace. A chit chat with some guests there was very enriching as i told them about this drive which joins all Taj hotels across India.They loved it . This was followed by a town hall meeting where almost everyone working in that hotel was there. A great interaction as we shared our we shared our experiences and Mr Pashupathy gave the essence of this whole drive to the staff with a messsage of "We Stand Together"and how this will lead to guest satisfaction...
